Unheard of but true! An online site specializing in online games such as backgammon just like other
online casinos offer, has decided to take a drastic step into the weird zone reserved only to other tactics used previously by online casinos such as Golden Palace and Party Poker, and purchase the shorts of an
heavyweight boxer after he boxed in them.
It seems so odd that anyone, and particularly any business entity such as an online casino or backgammon site, would decide to spend a hundred thousand dollars for the sweaty pants of a boxer! Even though the boxer in question is no other than the heavyweight world champion (in some circles and under some boxing federations) Roman Greenberg, it still seems a hefty sum to pay. But the online backgammon site BackgammonMasters decided that this works in their best interests.
They are not planning to keep the shorts with them, but wish to hold an auction and then donate the cash they receive from that auction to children in need from the Arab and Jewish communities. And maybe the total cash amount will go over that because the initial bid allocated for the start of the auction is a hundred thousand.
As for the overjoyed fighter, Roman plans to use the hundred grand as part of the build up he will need in order to be able to get a title shot in the other federation bouts so that he can and will become the undisputed boxing champion of the world. He's hot in the running for a contender shot after he bludgeoned down Michael Simms at the Madison Square in New York City and previously beat other boxing contenders such as Steve Pannel and Kendrich Releford.
Eventually, both the online backgammon site and the boxer benefit from this sweat partnership. Or at least, that's what the pigeons say.
